Our Story
In 2020, the Houston area had many passionate pickleball players but very few pickleball facilities. On a chilly afternoon in March just as the pandemic was starting, three of us met outside of a Starbucks to plan a pickleball club.
We wanted to concentrate the pickleball passion that was scattered across Houston into a pickleball club. We felt we could better represent pickleball to the surrounding cities, counties, and communities, as well as influence parks and recreation departments for more and better facilities if we became an organization with members united in a common goal. We also wanted Houston, the fourth largest city in America, to have its own professional/amateur tournament. We wanted Houston to have a pickleball park to host regional and national tournaments.
Pickleball is inclusive, welcoming, and fun. Advanced or a beginner, young or old, man or woman, on the pickleball court we are all welcome. People of different cultures, races, and backgrounds, who would not otherwise meet one another, find joy in playing the game together. Pickleball is community building. Pickleball is 4 All.
